Goal of the Programme

The goal of the BA in Biblical Studies programme is to give students a thorough knowledge of the Bible and its interpretation based on a calling to serve in local church ministry or to pursue further studies toward academic research or teaching in Bible and theology.

Student Learning Outcomes

1. Demonstrate skill in the practical exegesis of the biblical text.
2. Analyse and synthesize current methods and contributions of theology to contemporary issues.
3. Develop specific skills for ministry.
4. Develop competency to express a Christian worldview, to enable further inquiry for personal enrichment, and to address specific ministry issues.
5. Demonstrate growth in spiritual disciplines and devotional practices.
